Provincial Differences in the Main Causes of Years of Life Lost Due to Premature Death of Iranian Elderly in 2016

Background and Objectives: In order to evaluate the burden of disease in provinces Iran, this study seeks investigate provincial differences main causes years life lost old age 2016. Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional that was conducted 2016 at national levels. These data were obtained from registration system Ministry Health Medical Education, using standard method World Organization, number calculated based on three death for elderly. Results: The share elderly deaths total ranged 43% Sistan Baluchestan province 77% Gilan province. Golestan had highest YLL rate due cardiovascular diseases (345 per thousand) cancers (227 Kerman with 81 thousand respiratory they had.
